Draft policy, last updated July 2026.
Terms of Use
By using Southwest Creatives you agree to these terms.
What Southwest Creatives is
A directory where independent creatives in the South West of England can be found. We connect people; we are not a party to any work, contract or payment arranged between members and those who hire them. Any agreement you make with someone you find here is entirely between you and them.
Who can create a profile
You must be 18 or over, based in the South West of England (Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly, Devon, Dorset, Somerset, Wiltshire, Gloucestershire or Bristol), and offering a creative service. Profiles exist to offer skills for hire, commission or collaboration, not to sell products.
Profile review
All profiles are reviewed before appearing publicly. We may decline or remove any profile at our discretion, including profiles that misrepresent work, impersonate others, sell products rather than services, or fall outside the region or the spirit of the site.
Your content
You keep ownership of everything you upload. By publishing a profile you grant us a non-exclusive licence to display your content on the site and to use it to promote the directory, for example featuring your profile on our homepage or social media. You confirm that everything you upload is your own work or that you have the right to share it.
Acceptable use
Don't upload anything unlawful, misleading, infringing or abusive. Don't scrape the site or harvest members' details. Don't use the directory to send spam.
No guarantees
We don't guarantee your profile will generate enquiries, appear in any particular position, or be available at all times. The service is provided as is, and we may change, suspend or discontinue features at any time.
Account removal
You can delete your account at any time. We can suspend or remove accounts that breach these terms.
Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss arising from work arranged between members and third parties, from member content, or from interruption of the service.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
