About
Hi, I’m Dot McCormack! I'm a Bristol-based photographer and videographer creating bold, character-driven visuals; specialising in shooting for creatives.
My visuals have helped clients book roles, bring courses to life, sell out gigs and theatre shows, provide evidence to fundraising bodies and more. I gain joy in capturing people in their element - celebrating love, community and having an all around good time.
Trained at the Northern Film School, I look for a story in everything I shoot, and love working with individuals to bring out their inner confidence and guide them to put their best face forward in photos.
Whether you adore being in front of the camera or find it challenging, I create relaxed portrait sessions that help you feel comfortable, confident and authentically yourself. Always inclusive, LGBTQ+ and neurodivergent friendly.
I make colourful, honest work that feels unapologetically you.

Founder | WILDHeart
I'm a creative entrepreneur, coach and serial builder who has spent the last 20 years turning ideas into businesses, brands, spaces and communities. From launching a vintage fashion brand and working in buying and interior design, to designing award-winning coworking spaces and now building WILDHeart, a creative coworking community in Bristol, she’s happiest figuring out what could work — and then making it happen.
I have a knack for spotting opportunities, connecting seemingly unrelated ideas and finding fresh ways to generate income from skills, creativity and existing resources. She brings a healthy dose of curiosity, straight-talking energy and “surely there’s another way to do this?” thinking to everything she does.
As a coach and community builder, I'm particularly passionate about helping creative people stop waiting for permission, think bigger and build sustainable businesses around the things they’re genuinely good at.
